Where Did the Year Go?!!?

It's been a while since I've "Blogged" but I guess there is no time like the present to start again. Life has been busy for Mrs. Johnson . . . our oldest son is teaching at Tri-Center (history/social studies) and our youngest is a freshman at Briar Cliff University and will also be playing golf. It's nice to be back in school where the days are more "scheduled"!
Here's a quick summary of what we are doing in our class as of Monday 8/25 (only 4 months til Christmas!):

PARENTING: Read and discussed a current events article. Went over class expectations and content. I'm sure you and your student are looking forward to experiencing the "RealCare" baby!

ACCOUNTING: Discussed the word "accounting"; went over expectations and class content. Today we even began chapter 1 and students should finish assignment 1.2 On Your Own, and start the Study Guide. Students going on the field trip with Mr. Miller Thursday, will need to get assignment on Wednesday.

HOUSING & NUTRITION: Went over the course expectations and content. Students were given time in class to complete questions over Chapter 46.
